Today’s blog idea was brought to you by a BTO member named Abby! Abby (aka biggestbellarina102) sent me a message asking about my red carpet look and how to get it for less. Here’s what Abby said:

“Bella, can you do a Red Carpet to Real Life blog on your 2013 MovieGuide Awards look? I really loved the outfit and makeup. It looks very mature and sophisticated, and I’m honestly addicted to it.”

I am SO happy to hear that you liked my outfit, Abby!! I had a BLAST at the MovieGuide Awards. I even got to present an award with Kelli Berglund from Lab Rats. My dress was by a designer named Francisco Casals, and I felt very glamorous wearing it—just like an Old Hollywood movie star! Did you know that type of silhouette is called a mermaid silhouette? (It really looks like a mermaid tail, doesn’t it?!) Mermaid gowns are great for red carpets and other fancy occasions, but I thought I’d share a slightly more practical version of my look today.
