Omg you guys, I think I found the PERFECT snack and I can’t wait to try it: Apple Nachos!!! I know that might sound a little strange, but just hear me out!
Instead of tortilla chips and nacho cheese, Apple Nachos use apple slices and melted peanut butter. Then you add yummy toppings like toasted almonds and chocolate chips. Here’s the recipe in case you want to try it out for yourself…
YOU NEED:
5 apples, sliced
½ cup of peanut butter, melted
chocolate chips to taste
sliced or chopped almonds, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. Slice the apples in thin slices and arrange them on a platter like you would nachos.
2. Drizzle a little bit of lemon juice on the apples to keep them from turning brown.
3. Melt the peanut butter in the microwave in a microwavable safe dish with a spout.
4. Drizzle the peanut butter over the apples, and then sprinkle your chocolate chips and almonds on top.
This looks delish, and actually kinda healthy too! Plus, you can totally experiment with your own topping choices like caramel sauce (yum!), coconut, raisins, honey, cookie crumbles, or whatever else you can think of!!

I hope this is ok to post here, in order to share it with you, since its apple related, CRANBERRY-APPLE BAKE ( from Donna Carole)
3 CUPS CHOPPED APPLES (PEELED)
2 CUPS FRESH CRANBERRIES
2 TABLESPOONS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 CUP SUGAR
COMBINE THESE 4 INGREDIENTS AND PUT IN 2 QUART CASSEROLE (I USE A 9X13 PAN)
THEN:
COMBINE 3 PKGS INSTANT CINNAMON & SPICE OATMEAL (QUAKER'S MAKES IT)
3/4 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
1/2 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER
SPOON OVER FRUIT MIXTURE. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES UNCOVERED
THIS IS GOOD SERVED WARM OR COLD AS A SIDE DISH, A DESSERT, OR EVEN AT BREAKFAST.
