Let’s Talk: Bullying
Today I wanted to talk to you guys about something really important. I was bullied a lot when I was younger, and I saw from your discussions in the forum that a lot of you have been the victims of bullying before too. Bullying is hurtful and wrong, but it’s something that most of us have experienced at some point in our lives. Here’s a video I made about my experience with bullying. Here’s what you can do to help stop bullying:
1. DO NOT be a bully. You really never know how much the things you say can hurt someone. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all.
2. If you see someone else being bullied, stand up for them. If you’re afraid or don’t know what to do, you can always ask an adult for help.
3. Whether you’re being made fun of for your appearance or for the TV shows you like, or for speaking Spanish or being dyslexic like I was, don’t let bullying get you down. Know that you’re the best you can be and that I believe in you too!

Bullying is just stupid. Bullies only want to make themselves look good because they are obviously sad or lonely. I am so proud of Bella for standing up to bullies like that, and look where she is today. This is why Bella will always be my idol. <3 -
I agree bullying is bad that is so stupid getting bulled for speaking Spanish & being dyslexic speaking Spanish is cool learning a different language is cool i'm going to learn different languages too Japanese Swedish German French & Latin Egyptian writing Bella you are not stupid your awesome! i love you :D :) -
Hi Bella my friend Sajani is being bullied I really need your advice since I can trust you the target told the teachers and her families but the bullies won't stop and I totally agree with you was bullied when I was in kindergarten but now I'm not being bullied and just so you know... Someone in the world is being bullied every 7 seconds -
In my opinion, I do not do anything special ... I organized at our school club "Stop Bullies" in which we are struggling with bullying verbally and physically. We turned out pretty cool team and seizure in our school is almost no! -
I got bullied for being dyslexic so I couldn't read or do maths or use a computer well and my best friend was because she is so tall and everyone used to call her fat and sometimes she still sits in the toilet and cries.

you are SO SO strong Bella so much then I can´t belive it!! The have SO wrong about you!! You don´t have to be nervous to read aloud becuse if the says something, you now it is not true at all. Continue to speak spanish!!<3 -
I have been bullied to. My friends have also...so I made a page on Facebook...although I have veryyy few likes, I have helped people from harming themselves and I have stood up against bullying. I know karate, and I defend the victims I see...If the bully tries to hit me (like what happened a few days ago) I blocked and the cop in my school came over and took the bully away. I helped the girl and we became friends. :) I love helping people. :) -

Right with you Bella! I'm in sixth form, and I still get bullied for being so shy and quiet! Everyone always maeks fun of me for what i want to be when I'm older, they say that's boring and you'll be rubbish at that! STUPID REALLY! Sorry Bella though, because you were bullied :/ -

I am also dyslexies and i'm realy afraid to read something for the clas!! and they tease me about my red hair they call me ginger evry time a past. ir ealy hate it!!!! -

im feel bad that happend my mom tells me to ignore them when they something mean i was a victom id always try to cut my self but it wasent worth it i was stabed with a pencail by a girl for no reason so i got perinoied

i get made fun of for learning to speak french. i get bullied because of my height cuz im really tall. ive been over 5'11 since i was 11 years old. b/c i watch disney and ncikelodeon and im almost 15. b/c i hang out with 7th and 8th graders. b/c i love Nickelback and Ghost Adventures and take ballet. its really annoying and hurtful and it just needs to stop. I know its who i am, im not completely afraid of showing who i am but i do put restrictions on it b/c of the bullying. </3 i hate it. -
I'm sorry you were hurt like that...I can't stand people that bully other people and pick on someone just to make themselves feel better or cause someone pain in their life...it's sick...it not only happens to kids and teenagers, but adults too and I wish their was a way to reach out to these type people and get then some help so that the can see how wrong it is and how much harm it does to other people. I use to be a bully and learned my lesson long ago on how to behave properly and have never been bad to anyone since. It made me a better person in life. I think you're so cool Bella, please let me know if anyone ever picks on or bullies you again. I will not tolerate it. -

They're just jealous of your success, so they felt the need to bring them down. Don't give them the satisfaction. You did absolutely nothing wrong, they did. It's their problem, not yours. I used to get bullied a lot, but one teacher changed everything. I talked it out, and the bullying stop almost immediately. It really does help to talk it out, it helps you sort through your feelings. Embarrassed? Don't be. You did nothing wrong. Each and everyone one of you is beautiful in your own unique way <3 xoxo, Baylee
