How delicious does this cheesy treat look?! I can’t wait to try this recipe because it’s a super fun spin on one of my all-time favorite foods… PIZZA! Top a warm baguette or bread slices with a spoonful of this melted, gooey, goodness and you have the perfect Italian treat. Plus, how cool is it that you can add your favorite toppings to customize it?!
YOU NEED:
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 cup pizza sauce
Warm baguette slices
½ cup mozzarella, grated
½ cup mozzarella, shredded (for top of dip)
¼ cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
Your favorite toppings
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and the three cheeses together.
2. Spread the cheesy mixture across the bottom of a pie plate.
3. Pour pizza sauce on top of the yummy dip and sprinkle on the remainder of grated cheese.
4. Place the pie plate in a preheated oven (350 degrees F)
5. Last but not least, keep your eyes peeled for when the sides of the dish are bubbling.
The recipe is finally finished when the cheese has melted and turned golden brown on top, about 20 minutes. Then you can add all your favorite pizza toppings! You could try olives, peppers, artichokes, onions, pepperoni, or anything else you can think of!
Are you going to make this? What toppings would you add to your pizza dip?
