Hey guys!
I think giving back to the community is super important all year round, but it’s especially important around the holidays. They call it the season of giving after all!!! For me, the holiday season is a time to think about how grateful I am for everything good in my life, and also to remember that there are people out there who might not be as lucky. So today I thought I’d put together a list of 10 great ways to give back. There’s so much fun stuff that you can do!
1. Volunteer at a soup kitchen
2. Foster a cat or dog until it finds a permanent home or, if your parents won’t let you…
3. Help out at an animal shelter
4. Host a big bake sale to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy
5. Start a blog or website to raise awareness about a worthy cause
6. Donate your old clothes and toys to a homeless shelter
7. Get a group of friends together to clean up a local park or beach
8. Visit a local senior center or nursing home
9. Send a holiday card or letter to a soldier
10. Tutor or mentor a younger kid in your neighborhood
And remember, it’s all about finding a cause that is meaningful to you! If none of these ideas sound quite right, try checking out DoSomething.org for more great ideas.
Do you have any ideas of your own?
I’d love to add them to my list!
xo Bella

I helped out alot this year, I babysit for kids in the neighborhood who's parents work (non-paying), I clean up the park down the street, I collect for for the food pantry, and I tutor kids in the grades below me!!! I think helping out is such an amazing way to give back to a community that has given me so much! -

I know it's a bit late but I helped out by at toys for tots, it's tons of fun and because I'm homeschooled i did it twice a week! The wharehouse Is hard because when the marines bring in the toys you have to sort them out by age and then when they are sorted out you have to count them, my fave part of it was the 'shoping' you grab a cart and a list of the familys kids and then you get them however many things they are aloud.
But the best part was when I gave a little girl (about 4) a teddy bear bigger than her her face lite up like it was Christmas <3
Nothing could ever beat that.
I am so glad that I had the chance to be Santa's little helper (as another 6 year old called it) and hope I could do it again. I also encourge that people donate next year because we help over 10,000 people in our area and we almost ran out of toys so next year please help in ANY way you can
Thanks for reading this!!

I get excited to help other people too. I raise money for the American Hear Association through a club in my school. My goal is to raise $250 and I've already reached $155! :) -

Hi, Bella. I am so thankful that you are a very giving, down-to-earth person. You are a great role model, and I look up to you. I think it is such a coincidence that I happened to go to a senior center today. Yay! Now I have 9 more things on my list of giving back! I also like to give presents to all of my teachers to show my appreciation. This year, i would like to donate presents to the less fortunate in hopes of brightening someone's day. -

Hey @bellathorne, I’m thankful for BellaThorneOfficial.com too!
my favorite post was 10 Ideas: Great Ways to Give Back because giving back to your community is a great feeling to have, knowing that you are making a difference in the world and putting smiles on people's faces. Also, I like the idea about Hurricane Sandy. That was just devastating and sad. I hope you choose me as the winner for the quinceañera bag. My username is MsDocs on BTO. I also posted this on facebook -

Hey, Bella.
Many of your ideas I run every day.)
Volunteer at a soup kitsch - it's about me.
I always help animals.
Recently donated her old clothes to the orphanage.
Oh yes, I have my own ideas....
1) In my school, I help young children with the lessons. I think it's very good. I explain to them what they do not understand.
2) I go to kindergarten for sick children, and reading to them. I believe that it helps them.
3) With my friends we go to the elderly and help them at home. Cook, clean, do partial repairs. I think it has to do each.
That's it.
You're such a good Bella, always remain such.<3 -
